الوصف

Accounts in the hand of ʿArūs b. Yosef. The upper portion of recto may be a list of customers and their orders, as various names and garment types are mentioned. Below: mentions Abū Saʿīd; the hire of a ship (1 1/6 dinar); a cotton robe; several fūṭas; wheat; flour. On verso: mentions a container with a certain oil inside; something, maybe a burniyya, with an infusion (nuqūʿ) inside. A waṭaʾ containing a container of robes (ʿaybat thiyāb); a covering (ghiṭāʾ); a mat (naṭaʿ); a ridda. Then details of a shipment (saffartu. . .) including a chest of codices (quffat maṣāḥif); several other items that are difficult to read; and olives (zaytūn). His pen nib split for the next few lines. He details further contents of containers (ʿayba). Mentions Abū Yūsuf; robes; a ghalāla; something white (a miḥrām?) and a turban; al-Muʿallim al-Qalʿī (same person as the sender of T-S NS J35 (PGPID 4328)?). At the bottom of recto at 180 degrees there are four more lines in his hand, possibly from a letter (fa-qultu lahū . . . dhālika li-faḍlika. . .).
