Early modern legal fragment in Hebrew. The paleography points to the likelihood that the document is c. 17th-19th-century. Based on the limited text available this fragment may trace back to a real estate rental or purchase concerning a shop (חנות). The term ההקדש (ha-heqdesh) is used in line 8 and perhaps line 3 in connection with this shop property. A sum of 25 grosho is listed but it's unclear if this term indicates Ottoman kuruş or just a generic term for silver coinage. The name Avraham ʿAfīf appears in line 2. MCD.
