الوصف

Attestation written by Ṭalāʾīʿ b. Ṣāliḥ b. Yaḥyā in the name of Yārūkh (or possibly Bārūkh) b. Jawshan and mentioning the eastern neighborhood (al-ḥāra al-sharqiyya) in the district (nāḥiya) of Sinnūris. Dated 15 Shawwāl 545 (4 February 1151). Written on verso of a tax receipt in the hand of the jahbadh Mīkhāʾīl b. ʿAbd al-Masīḥ dated 2 or 8 Dhū l-Qaʿda 405 (April 1015) (see separate entry), suggesting that tax receipts may have been archived and retained for more than a century.
