Letter fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Shelomo b. Eliyyahu? Mentions: that the addressee is to remind a teacher that he should hide the money until [...] returns from traveling; "for the clothes are expensive"; "I am mad at you because of the Sabbath(?)"; conveying gratitude to Abū ʿAlī; again urging patience until someone arrives from traveling; Abū Manṣūr Ibn al-QYJ; and Yosef. Reused on verso for accounts in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals. Mentioning eggplant (bādhinjān). (Information in part from CUDL.)
