الوصف

Announcement of a threat of excommunication (ḥerem stam) against anyone in Fustat or Cairo or their environs who knows the whereabouts of Abū l-ʿAlā b. Yosef al-Ṭabīb (the physician) and does not inform the Jewish court. Handwriting of Avraham Maimonides, r. 1205–1237 CE. Verso: jottings with Coptic numerals. (Information in part from CUDL.)
