الوصف

Letter/petition fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: probably late 12th century based on the mention of Sar Shalom. The sender refers to a great peril and being saved by God; mentions the kindnesses of the 'noble congregation'; 'our master Sar Shalom'; and he now asks for assistance redeeming (iftikāk) presumably a woman, "for she is in great peril." On verso there is a philosophical text in Judaeo-Arabic.
