الوصف

Verso (original use): Legal document in Arabic script. Dated: Rabīʿ II 504 or 540 AH. Maybe a partnership agreement. Describing an arrangement between two men possibly involving wax/candles, mentioning for example "whoever [...] requiring customs (maks) shall bring it to the customs house (al-ṣināʿa al-maḥrūsa)." There is also a string of epithets for something to do with a ruler or the government: [...] al-muʿaẓẓama al-sharīfa al-nabawiyya al-[...] [...]. Needs further examination.
