Letter addressed to Elʿazar ha-Kohen, whose name is prefaced with a string of honorifics typical of the late 12th or early 13th century. The sender says that the community promised to honor him with the job of making the doors for the synagogue; now he writes to confirm this. There is also a portion of a letter on verso, unclear if this is the continuation or a separate letter.
