Personal letter from Yehuda b. Yaʿaqov to Abu ʿImrān Mūsā al-Dayyān(?). In Judaeo-Arabic. Unconventional orthography. Mentions that the 9th of Av passed and he was distressed over his separation from the addressee. The tax farmer of the silk (ḍāmin al-ḥarīr) came on Saturday night and informed him of the death of Abū l-ʿIzz. He sends condolences. Mentions the ghulām of Abū l-Ḥasan. Mentions wheat. Greetings to various people including Sitt Misk. In the margin explains that he has business to deal with with the qāḍī, otherwise he would come in person. Greetings to his son Abū Saʿd.
