Business letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: likely 12th or early 13th century. Concerning a trip of the addressee and a third person, and mentioning 80 dirhams in the possession of someone else and the arrival and news of yet another person. Mentions staying in al-Maḥalla Wednesday night; meeting with Makīn b. Mukhtār, who reported his intention to travel and that 80 jars of his wine had turned to vinegar; also mentions al-Shaykh al-Rashīd; and good quality wheat.
