الوصف

Bifolio. Containing an official order; probably a copy of a decree/sijill, but also written in an elegant script. Stating that Manṣūr b. Sahl, one of the secretaries/scribes employed in the military administration (al-kuttāb al-mustakhdamīn fī dīwān al-juyūsh al-manṣūra) will be reassigned to a different government employment (khidma). Could reveal something about the identity of scribes and their employment in the military. Needs further examination. Reused for Hebrew literary text on recto. ASE/YU.
