الوصف

Record or outline of a legal document. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (fl. 1100–38). Written on a narrow piece of parchment. Dated: last decade of Sivan 1442 Seleucid = June 1131 CE. The parties are Yiṣḥaq known as Zayn b. Avraham, and his mother Sara bt. Yehuda, the wife of Shemuel b. Yehoshuaʿ(?) he-Ḥaver known as Ibn ʿEli(?). The case concerns a quarter of a house in Maḥbas ʿAmmār, inherited from the father. The property is described, with reference to the Masjid al-Ḥajar(?) and the alley known as Ibn Dulayma(?). Needs further examination.
