Kharāj receipt. T-S AS 183.155 and T-S AS 183.156 are related (same payer). His name looks like Māḍī b. Fakhr الحىىي but this is tentative. The scribe of both documents is named Yūsuf b. Ibrāhīm. After the initial "ṣaḥḥa bism X," it continues "min jumla mā yajib ʿalayhi min kharāj. . . ." It is "for the months of the year 526." T-S AS 183.155 goes on to refer to documents or signatures (khaṭṭ) of Fatḥ(?) al-Simsār and Abū l-Ḥasan. The latter may be followed by the phrase "bi-ghayr ʿalāma," "without a registration mark." Notably this document itself lacks ʿalāʾim in the upper margin. A reference to the khaṭṭ of Abū l-Ḥasan appears again at lower right. The receipt is for a total of 50 dinars. Dated: 16 Jumādā I 527 AH = 25 March 1133 CE.
