Small fragment of a decree or petition, probably. The only phrase preserved is the name of the caliph al-Imām al-ʿĀḍid li-Dīn Allāh Amīr al-Muʾminīn (r. 1160–71). Cf. T-S AS 137.105 for another state document fragment where only the name of the caliph (also al-ʿĀḍid) is preserved. On verso there is the remnant of an elaborate ʿalāma, probably al-[ḥamdu lil-lāhi ra]bb al-ʿālamīn.
