Fragment of a petition and/or report in Arabic script. Making a request concerning cash flow: "... fī nafaqātihā al-rātiba mā tadʿū... ilayhi bi-rasmihā ilā Dīwān al-Aḥbās bi-Miṣr...," specifically concerning 300 dinars. Verso may be the continuation or the response and mentions al-Majlis al-Ḥāfiẓī, dating this document to the reign of al-Ḥāfiẓ (1132–49). Verso also has some scribal exercises, possibly from a learner copying the text of the original document.
