الوصف

Verso (original use): Petition in an elegant Arabic hand. The sender's name probably appears at the end of the tarjama, but it difficult to read. Only the upper left corner of the original, large document is preserved. Mentions "the decree from al-ḥaḍra al-muqaddasa" (cf. ENA NS 12.15). Recto (secondary use): Recipe for compounding (luxury) kohl. Uses ingredients such as coral (murjān) and emerald (zumurrud).
