الوصف

Receipt ("tadhkira bism...") for the capitation tax of Maʿrūf b. Yahūdhā al-Yahūdī, an indigo merchant (nīlī) and perfumer (ʿattār), in Fustat. The registration mark / ʿalāma at upper left is identical to the ones on T-S AS 178.126 and T-S AS 178.200. Needs further examination for date and other characteristics. Someone named Maʿrūf b. Yehuda signed T-S 8J4.25 (PGPID 7632) in 1112 CE. Tax receipts for the same payer: T-S AS 177.105 and T-S AS 184.88.
