الوصف

Recto: Lower left piece of a letter in calligraphic Arabic script. Dating: Probably Mamluk-era, based on the hand and the names. Mentions al-Ḥājj Yūsuf and a desire that the addressees should come quickly. The remainder consists of greetings to various people, including Shihāb al-Dīn and his brother Sharaf al-Dīn, and Shams al-Dīn "jamāl al-mashāʾikh." Verso: Fragment from the beginning of a letter, or a draft, to 'my brother.'
