الوصف

Letter in Arabic script. Beginning with taqbīl, formal addresses/blessings, and a report ("anhā al-mamlūk..."). Dating: Probably Ayyubid or early Mamluk era. The sender reports that the addressee's letter arrived with the ghulām of Ibn Thaʿlab (this reading is not certain as it looks more like ثعلت, but that is not a word/name). Most of the bottom part of the document is lost. There is a very effaced tarjama at upper left; the sender's name may be legible.
