الوصف

Letter in Arabic script. Opens with expressions of longing and regret for how the sender did not stay with the addressee. The sender reports that there was great difficulty on the Nile or sea voyage (laḥiqanā shidda fī l-baḥr) because of the excessive cargo (min kuthrat al-wasq), but ultimately they arrived safely. The sender delivered the 'taqwīm' to al-Sharīf who was grateful. The sender met with Manṣūr al-Farrāsh and conveyed the addressee's message to him.
