الوصف

Fragment from the top of a letter addressed to a dignitary. In Hebrew. The addressee is asked to intercede with Rabbenu Aharon he-Ḥaver, possibly to allow the sender to go up to the 'dukhan' in the synagogue and lift his hands (i.e., for the priestly blessing) (לעלות לדוכן ולשאת את כפיו). A few lines down, mentions (a rival?) going down before the ark and the sender being ashamed (וירד לפני התיבה ובשתי). Also mentions the evening prayer (ʿaravit).
