- المماليك ينهوا وفاة فلان بن فلان اليهودى فى يوم الفلان فى شهر
- الفلان فى السنة الفلانة وترك من الورتة ولده المسما فلان

- The slaves report the death of so-and-so, the son of so-and-so, the Jew, on such-and-such a day of such-and-such a month,
- in such-and-such a year. He left as heirs his son called so-and-so,
- his daughter called so-and-so, his wife called so-and-so; daughter of so-and-so, and his paternal cousin
- called so-and-so, son of so-and-so. When they had verified this they wrote their signatures on it,
- on the aforementioned date. Praise be to God, the one, the living, the eternal.
