Mercantile account in Arabic related to the India trade. Mentions payments for the customs (maks) of Bāḍiʿ and ʿAydhāb (recto, ll. 1–2). Then mentions cinnamon (l. 3); a bale of lac (l. 5); aromatic wood (l. 7). Verso mentions "going up to [...]"; a fee for a certain commodity (ما اجرته في مونى مما يخص هذه البضاعة); the hire of passage and a ship (kirā wa-markab) "from the associates of the Sharīf" (?? min khullān al-sharīf) to ʿAydhāb. On al-Sharīf as a shipowner operating out of ʿAydhāb, see L-G Misc. 13 (PGPID 9114).
