الوصف

Official and/or commercial document issued for the ṣarrāf Mūsā Naʿīm (Moshe ben Naʿim) involving the Dīwān Anwāl al-Ḥarīr in Alexandria and a certain al-Ḥajj Muḥammad. The official that signs and seals the document is the nāẓir of the Dīwān, al-Ḥajj ʿAmr ʿUthmān[?]. Dated: 28 Dhū l-Ḥijja 1238 = 5 September 1823 CE. There is a note in Hebrew script on verso "מרו׳ חירייה"[?] but its meaning and relation to the document is not clear.
