Accounts in an orderly scribal hand on a bifolium whose folding and size is suggestive of the existence of a broader ledger (from which there is at least one other join: JRL SERIES C 6). Dated: Jumā[da](?) II 1238 AH (1823 CE), in the lower heading on the right left side of JRL C 6r (شهر جما؟ الاخر). The first portion of the month in question is not clearly rendered but ربيع الاخر is the only other possibility and does not seem feasible with what's written. With the exception of a single invocation in Judaeo-Arabic on the recto the entirety of the document is in Arabic and the numerals are eastern Arabic. Many of the headings are organized by days of the week which encompass additional isolated entries that are designated by individuals' names. MCD.
