Letter fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. The sender seems to be complaining that the addressee did not inform him about the price of saffron; he heard that it is going for "10 per mann." There is none in "al-thaghr" (probably Alexandria). Excerpts: באן לם תערפני איש . . . אלזעפראן וסמעת אן . . . בעשרה אלמן ומא מנה פי [אל]תגר שי אצלא ווחק אללה יאהי מא . . . .
