Fragment of a letter. 6 lines in Hebrew with praises for an important person (including that God make his enemies drink poison), then 1 line in Judaeo-Arabic beginning a letter of recommendation for the bearer: . . . סבב אצדאר הדה אלכדמה אלי מולאי אלשיך החכם] והנבון הירא שמים יהי אלהיו עז[רו] ואויביו ישקה כוס רעל ויכלה בטוב ימיו ובנעימים שנותיו יחיה לו חמודו . . . השר הנכבד התלמיד המיבין יזכהו לראות בניו ובני בניו ממלאים מקום אבותם הטהורים הקדושים וכן יהי רצון אעלאמה דאם עזה באן חאמלה[א] . . . .
