الوصف

Massive account with an inventory of a (druggist's) shop (headed "muḥāsabat al-dukkān"). In Arabic script. Some of the very numerous commodities and items mentioned: pear (ijjāṣ); tamarind (tamr hindī); hazelnut (bunduq); borage (lisān thawr); palm ointment (marham nakhlī, cf. T-S Ar.39.9, T-S 8J20.26, and Yevr.-Arab. I 1700.22); violet (zahr banafsaj); sugar (sukkar); tubular (marāzībī) tutty; rose (ward); yellow myrobalan (halīlaj aṣfar); barberry (barbārīs); red lead (sīlqūn); jujube (ʿunnāb); potash (ushnān); gallnut (ʿafṣ); saffron (zaʿfarān); chebulic myrobalan (kābulī); hiera (iyāraj); marsh mallow (khiṭmiyya), watermelon seed (bizr biṭṭīkh). Requires much more examination.
