Legal document in Arabic script. Small fragment (lower right corner). Attesting that a certain person is fit to serve as broker in the market of the perfumers (ahl li-[...] simsār bi-l-ʿAṭṭārīn) due to what is known of his fair conduct (...min ḥusn muʿāmalatih...). Portions of at five different witness statements are preserved. Dating: looks late, perhaps Mamluk-era. ASE
