Fragment from a top of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic. The addressee is called 'the diadem (nezer) of the [...].' Reporting that the order of the Nagid arrived with 'our rabbi A[...] the enlightened judge' (אן כרג אמר [הדר]ת הנגידות תכון לעד עלי יד רבנו א[. . . .] הדיין המשכיל) ordering that 'the communal letter' (kitāb al-jamāʿa) be written. The addressee is asked to do a favor. Quotes the expression אומרין [מעט] ועושין הרבה. On verso probably writing exercises.
