Letter from a certain Dāʾūd to Eliyya ha-Rav ha-Gadol, probably Eliyyahu the Judge (early 13th century). In Judaeo-Arabic. Mentions 'a letter for Rabbenu' and a fatwā and not receiving any answer. Then a report on the sender's course of talmudic study, "I have read Ḥullin... and Giṭṭin and Qodesh(?)...." Mentions people including Abū l-Mufaḍḍal, Ibn al-Muqaddasī, and a woman who died. On verso mentions a Maghribī animal driver (mukārī); and a certain Yaʿqūb, who along with the sender, is very grateful to Eliyyahu.
