الوصف

Recto: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Addressed to the judge (al-dayyān) Yo[sef?]. Contains long opening greetings, a prayer that a deceased person will find mercy and that God will "make his resting place cold" (يبرد مضجعه), i.e., not Hell. Then discusses a matter of some dinars. Reused for writing practice between some of the lines. On verso there are remains of an Arabic document (see separate record).
