Court record. Fragment (upper left corner). In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100–38). Dealing with an inheritance which Manṣūr b. Shelomo(?) Naḥman ha-Turgeman ("the broadcaster," i.e., the one who conveys the words of a speaker to a large audience) left behind in al-Maḥalla. It is claimed by Shelomo b. Yosef ha-Kohen. The occupational title ha-Turgeman (تُرْجُمَان), could also mean "the translator/interpreter."
