Legal document. In Hebrew. Location: Cairo. Dated: 5453 AM, which is 1692/93 CE. Only the last two lines of the legal document are preserved. There is a frame, suggesting that it was a monumental document like a ketubba. There are perhaps 100 signatures, including one in Latin script (Abraham Vaes Nunes). Other signatures include: David Delmar, Shelomo Dammūhī, Yosef Reʾuben, Shemuʾel Ben-Naʿīm, Moshe Vidal, David Shalom, David Qūdsī Zeytūn, Masʿūd Revaḥ, Yaʿaqov Ḥanūn, Mordekhay Khiyajī, Yaʿaqov Kriyao, Yahuda Minawī, Aharon Ṭayyibīn, Yaʿaqov Karmona, Liha[?] ha-Levi, Elīshaʿ Dammūhī, Yiṣḥaq Susa, Shemuʾel Mazūzī, Salmūn Matīta, David Abūtīrīn[?], Shemuʾel Ezbīb, Ḥayyīm Qozīmṭ (קוזיימט), Yonah Angel, Yaʿaqov Zagdun, Moshe Razon, Mordekhay[?] Meyūḥas, Mordekhay Eskenjī[?], Efrayim Israel, Avraham Anzūrī, among many others. This is perhaps the largest conglomeration of autograph signatures on a single document from the early modern Geniza. ASE. MCD.
