Legal document(s). In Judaeo-Arabic. In the hand of Efrayim b. Shemarya? Multiple entries, it seems all dealing with the estate of the late Menashshe. On recto, mentions Hiba b. Avraham and Yeshuʿa who sue Ḥabīb; 16 dinars; orphans. Signed by Avraham b. Shemuel ha-Levi, Yosef b. MN[...] ha-Levi, and [...]. The entry underneath mentions the testimony of ʿEli b. Shelomo. The text on verso still concerns the estate of Menashshe. Mentions Khalaf; a cousin who is a business partner; Maḥfūẓ; Salama b. Manṣūr (סלמה בן מנצור); Yiṣḥaq; al-Shaṭranjī (=the chess player); a white silver ṣīniyya; a shop; 50 dinars; and "the house where his wife lives." Needs further examination.
