Fragment from the bottom of a legal deed in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi. Location: Fustat. Dated: Adar 1443 Seleucid = February/March 1132 CE, under the authority of Maṣliaḥ Gaʾon (here only the word Yaʿaqov is preserved, part of his title Geʾon Yeshivat Yaʿaqov). Witnessed by Yeḥezqel b. Natan and Natan b. Shelomo ha-Kohen. The date is written in the small letters which Natan b. Shelomo uses to embellish his signature: חא[...]תמג, i.e., חדש אדר [א]תמג. AA/ASE
