Calendar for the year 1671/72 CE. Verso includes several lists including a list of 15 synagogues in Cairo, including: Fōrāsṭīfōs(?) Synagogue (פוראסטיפוס), "the ruined synagogue" al-Khīlīf[...], al-Midrash, al-Faʾr Synagogue, Khālatī Masʿūda Synagogue (see also: PGPID 17028), al-Ḥūjj(?) al-Jīrīd Synagogue, al-Sario/Shario Bashā Synagogue, Shūqar Synagogue, the two Maghrebī (Mūghrebī) synagogues, Talmud Torah, Nava[r]o Synagogue, al-Ḥuqnājī Synagogue (אל חוקנאגי), al-Miṣriyyim Synagogue, al-Mināwī Synagogue, and Abū Shaʿra Synagogue (see also: PGPID 30688). This list of synagogues is incomplete based on other early modern fragments, but quite significant for the number of synagogues mentioned here that are otherwise unattested in Cairo—perhaps in some cases because of alternate titles or identification by adjacent street names.
