Business accounts in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals. One entry refers to the revenue from the shop; customs (maks); brokerage (samsara): and 83 dirhams. The next refers to Abū l-Faraj, the revenue from the shop; 140 pounds; and a guarantee or tax farming obligation (ḍamān). The next refers to Sayyid al-Ahl, 120 pounds, and the ḍamān, maks, and samsara again: qabaḍū al-ḍamān al-mutaqddimīn maksuhu wa l-samsara. Probably refers to tax in kind with units in raṭl.
