الوصف

State correspondence, probably from a lower state official to a higher subordinate because a rescript (tawqīʿ) is mentioned in the last line, but it could also be a fiscal document based on the layout. Mentions 306 aqfiza, plural of the unit qafīza is used for measuring cereal (See Goitein, Med. Soc. IV 242, 243, 439). On verso, the name Surūr b. Sabra appears in Hebrew script. Needs further examination.
