الوصف

Legal document with testimony concerning orphans and Isaac Horoshban (הורושבן), who died. Mentions various people including Isaac Shanji (שאנגו). Originally dated 1586 CE in FGP and CUDL but this reading of 1 Tammuz 5349 is incorrect. The year is, in fact, 5249 AM (הרמא) in line 14r– this reading is confirmed by the fact that the legal document mentions the authority of "our Master the Nagid" (l. 13r) a formula which has yet be attested in legal documents that were issued after 1517 CE.
