الوصف

ENA NS 83.15, recto: Fragment of a text in taʿlīq script, possibly documentary. The keyword عرض is repeated at least twice and the final line mentions the Persianate/Ottoman Turkish word mevlidkhān: a chanter/cantor for celebrations of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (Redhouse dictionary p. 768). Verso: Accounts in siyaket script. Requires further examination. ENA 83.65 contains mirror-image text that looks quite similar to ENA NS 83.15r and also contains the word مولدخان. It does not appear to be a direct imprint, but it may be the imprint of another portion of the original document.
