الوصف

Bottom of a communal letter in Hebrew. Written in Alexandria ca. 1030 CE (according to M. A. Friedman, Jewish Marriage in Palestine, p. 380 note 5). The writer is Yeshuʿa ha-Kohen 'the Prince of the Diaspora.' Signatures include: Yehuda b. Moshe; Yaʿaqov b. Yosef; Ṭoviyya b. Elishaʿ; Sahl b. Yaʿaqov; Menuḥa b. Yosef ha-Kohen; Aharon b. Yehuda ha-Ḥazzan; Dāʾūd b. Avraham, and approximately 8 more partial signatures are preserved.
