Black ink (original use): Probably a piece of a state document. At the top: thabata ʿindī jamīʿ mā nuṣṣa wa-shuriḥa fīhi... wa-kataba Muḥammad b. Ibrāhīm b. ʿAbdallāh b. Ḥafṣ bi-khaṭṭih. At the bottom: the end of the name of a caliph [...] Allāh Amīr al-Muʾminīn, then prayers for him and his family, then the name [...] b. Yaḥyā b. Muḥammad. The next word looks like "متوليي" so possibly a dual, referring to two drectors of the Dīwān al-Kharāj (which is the next phrase).
