Nafūsa

The Nafusa mountains (Jebel Nafusa) or sometimes known simply as Nafusa, is a mountain range in modern-day western Libya. A not insignificant number of Geniza merchants hailed from Nafusa, but it is technically not a settlement location itself. Rather, the mountain is home to several towns and cities, most notably Zintan, Nalut, Jadu, Gharyan, Yefren, Kabaw, and others.
