Munā
Description / Bio
Manumitted woman whose trousseau list and marriage to Abū l-Faraj Yeshuʿa b. Avraham al-Tinnīsī are attested in a late twelfth-century court register (likely 1184/85 CE based on the date mentioned in one of the neighboring entries). Munā's life is also attested in an estate-related document from 1203 CE, where a loan she provided to the late perfumer Avraham b. Abu al-Karam is mentioned. Based on the latter reference, Munā was still married to Abū l-Faraj Yeshuʿa b. Avraham al-Tinnīsī in 1203 CE.
