Description / Bio

Fatimid state official, served under the administration of al-Āmir. He was sent as a diplomatic envoy and ambassador to the Sulayhid Empress Arwā bt. Aḥmad in Yemen with several gifts including robes that the caliph had worn, dried meat, copies of 12 sermons, and several other priced gifts. (Information from al-Maqrīzī, Ittiʿāẓ III, 103).
