IB VI, 42. Letter from Abū l-Faḍl Shela, in Alexandria, to his son Ismāʿīl al-Fāṣid al-Yahūdī, in Aden. Probably dictated to his son Yosef b. Shela, who also wrote IB VI, 41 (PGPID 5270). In Judaeo-Arabic with the address in Arabic script. Dated: Iyyar (=Shawwāl) of the year 571 AH = April/May 1176 CE. Awaits more detailed summary. See Goitein notes linked below.
