Description

Letter from Abū l-Faraj, unknown location, to his father Abū l-ʿAlāʾ b. Daniel, in Alexandria. Abū l-Faraj recommends the bearer of the letter, al-Asʿad, in the strongest terms, because al-Asʿad had been good to him in both Cairo and Qalyūb. Dating: ca. early 13th century. Reused on verso for seliḥot. (Information mainly from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
