Description

Detailed mercantile account with names and sums of money. Most names appear in connection to certain markets (including Sūq Barbar, Sūq Wardān, and al-Sūq al-Kabīr), suggesting this was some sort of collection of communal tax(?). All the goods are materia medica. On verso the name Yeshuʿa b. Yoshiyyahu the descendant of Shemaʿyahu Gaʾon appears twice (known from other documents ca. 1140 CE, e.g., ENA 4020.8, T-S 13J2.25, and T-S AS 145.79).
