Document(s) in Ladino, the recto may correspond with what is listed on the verso. Dated Heshvan 5422 AM (Oct.-Nov. 1661 CE). The Ladino scribal hand on the verso is among the most cursive examples found to date in Cairo Geniza fragments. The secondary scribal hand on the verso is likely that of the person whom this document was issued to given that they signed in a mixture of Hebrew and Ladino "אני קונפראדו גיראנשיה" (I purchased guarantee). The list on the recto was recorded by at least three scribes, one of whom wrote in a Latin-script Romance language: possibly Italian, Castilian Spanish, or French. Requires further examination. MCD.
